That was my thought exactly. That site has got to be worth some serious money now.

There is a site, "something.com", that for as long as I have known about it has always just been a blank white page with black text reading only "Something."

I appreciate its simplicity, absurdity, and consistency.

I probably don't have the vocabularly to correctly describe it, but it's probably how "flat" it tends to sound. You can dramatically change the sound of your normal voice just by constricting your throat. This same thing happens involuntarily when pushing your range.

Reminds me a bit, in a roundabout way, of the phantom crane fly. It's an insect so indistinct in-flight that it took me years to get a good-enough look to identify what it was. The Blushing Phantom's clear wings and similar name brought it to mind. (Not my photo)
