The San Francisco Chronicle’s print edition today had no coverage of the protests. Not a word. But they did run an opinion piece on why violence at protests is bad.

Would just like to say I come from a long line of Newfoundlanders (my grandfather immigrated to the US in 1920), and I am feeling that heritage in a big way this week.

And by “take care” I don’t mean candles and bubble bath. I mean find your tribe. Clear your head. Lean on credible sources. And remind yourself over and over that our mission is to support children, staff, and families.
