I look at some of the companies which have implemented a full RTO, and I'm not impressed by what I am seeing. Innovation has dropped, and the people I'm dealing with are neither as good or as helpful as they were previously.

US cars are physically too big for much of Europe's road network, and their technology tends to be ancient. China has cars which are comparable in size to EU cars, and all sorts of gadgets and gizmos. It's nothing to do with "the US", it's very practical.
