It’s easy to trust someone with impressive credentials like Bongino’s. But he pushed ideas without facts, and millions believed, That’s dangerous. Epistemology reminds us to check HOW someone knows something!

Trumps reciprocal tariffs are not “America First”

Premise 1:

“America First” policies are those that benefit Americans.

Premise 2:

Removing reciprocal tariffs is said to benefit Americans.

Conclusion:

Therefore, the original tariffs did not benefit Americans and were not “America First.”

Mike Lindell just lost. He defamed Smartmatic voting. He pushed false claims as fact. After years of discovery, emails, experts, tech reviews, there was no proof of rigged voting machines. None. Midterms are coming. Let’s use critical thinking and believe things only when there is evidence.

Veterans already fight stigma that their leadership/experience don’t transfer into civilian life. I’ve seen it first hand. Hegseth’s “kill people and break things for a living” comment will fuel more underemployment and harm reintegration for our veterans. They do not deserve this!

Deuteronomy:

Failed prophecy = false prophet.
Fair, but even if a “prophecy” comes true, does that prove anything?
Joseph Smith foresaw the church in the Rockies + Civil War.
Rethink your standard.
How do you rule out a time traveler coming back or other ways of knowing you haven’t imagined?

Trump’s back and forth, sharp swings of attack and praise, can feel a lot like the dynamic people describe in unhealthy or abusive relationships. Saying “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” then “I think that she’s a terrific person” makes it hard to determine what he actually believes.

If a president signs an order banning flag burning, it’s a constitutional crisis. By doing so, he shows he doesn’t recognize the Court’s authority to interpret the First Amendment, even before any arrest is made.

“ I am glad the Trump administration is in agreement with the amendment I offered three years ago to the CHIPS act… taxpayers should not be providing billions of dollars in corporate welfare to large, profitable corporations like Intel without getting anything in return” -Bernie Sanders

Trump on Ukraine:
“Very easy negotiation.”
“I’ll have it done in 24 hours.”
(8/25/25) “It’s really complex.”
The cycle of grand claims, blind belief, and then backtracking. If he’s this wrong, why believe him on anything else?
Trump was NOT right about everything! Or Maybe Anything!

Lauren Boebert believes Jesus is coming back soon and shapes policy around it. If a politician openly used a psychic, consulted Orishas, or use Cowrie Shells to guide public decisions, we’d call it absurd. But swap in the Bible and suddenly it’s acceptable? It’s just as irrational and dangerous.

Many DEI programs include veterans, addressing hiring biases they face, often due to mental health stigma. Trumper outrage at DEI ignores this, harming those who served—proof they don’t understand the full purpose of the programs they condemn.

FAA cuts under DOGE led to the firing of those who maintain key systems. Experts warn of rising risks as outages grow and aging tech falters. Yes, systems need to be updated—but firing those who maintain them is silly. #FAA #DOGEcuts

Don Jr. opens invite only $500,000 membership 'Executive Branch' club in DC. Anything illegal inside? No problem — Daddy can pardon it. Imagine if Hunter Biden pulled this — Republicans would be lighting themselves on fire in outrage.

You can't pick and choose the Constitution. Republicans fight for permanent legal residents to have 2nd amendment rights. They say “ It’s in the Constitution!!!”—but love it when Trump deports legal residents without 5th Amendment due process. If one right applies, they all do. That’s the deal.

Trump promised to cap credit card interest at 10%—remember that? He’s done nothing. Worse, his team helped kill the $8 late fee cap. It’s clear now: he said whatever he had to just to get your vote. What else will he just “say” to keep your support?

Trump’s China tariffs are like a parent saying, “You’re grounded for a month!”—and then quietly adding, “But you can still use your phone, hang with friends, and go to parties.” It’s less punishment, more performative parenting with loopholes.

Republicans always said, “We love immigrants—as long as they come legally.” So people did—just like your grandparents may have. But under Trump, legal status didn’t matter: he canceled TPS, blocked green cards, and banned work visas. Turns out “legal” just means “until we decide it isn’t.”

Trump said the market would crash if Biden won—it soared. He said the same about Kamala and promised no crash if Trump won—but it crashed under Trump. Now he’s saying the market is going to BOOM! If his claims don’t match reality, how do you know the next one is true?

Retirees face forced withdrawals (RMDs) at 73 and can’t just hold their money and ride out the downturn. Trump’s tariffs spark volatility, draining savings now. Waiting for a recovery in the “Long-term” means little today for those folks. Republicans in Congress could stop this if they wanted to.

A neighbor shaded a killdeer nest and left food and water—meant well, but it attracted predators. Eggs gone. It’s not just what we believe, but how we know it’s true. Intuition and common sense can be wrong, no matter how strongly we believe them. Bad epistemology can turn good intentions into harm.

Proof-of-citizenship laws seem sensible—but natural disasters will leave millions without IDs. It's near-certain millions will be disenfranchised when their replacements don’t arrive in time. Heritage Foundation says just 10 cases of undocumented people voting since the '80s. #VoterAccess #Democracy

The probability of Trump developing dementia over the next 4 years is about 72.5%, given his age and family history—his father had Alzheimer’s. This is similar to flipping a coin two times and getting heads at least once. Cognitive tests have a false negative rate of up to 40%.

Trump proposed an unconditional 30-day ceasefire to see who was serious about ending the war. Ukraine agreed immediately. Russia refused, then launched new strikes. The test worked: Ukraine wants peace, Putin wants war. Any U.S. support for Russia only enables aggression.
