Fell in love with this painting/collage by TomaDee (Thomas Chedeville), spotted at the District13 Art Fair at Drouot earlier this month, just makes me laugh every time I look at it:

"Fall in love with your problems maybe they leave you too"

Can't wait for the 6th annual District 13 Art Fair next week at Drouot! Among the 170 street/urban artists will be two of my faves, Seth (one of his pieces pictured here) and D*Face. district13artfair.com

Seems Tuesday is my lucky day, I've managed to get reservations for Notre Dame Cathedral three Tuesdays in a row (always last minute.... I tried three times today, and only saw an open slot on the third try). Taking friends who haven't gotten in yet. Don't give up! #notredame #paris

Yes, the "Point Zero" plaque in front of Notre Dame Cathedral (placed there in 1924) is still there after 5 years behind the reconstruction barriers, but it's currently covered by a metal plate bolted on top of it. Do you know what Point Zero symbolizes?

Here's the line to get skates (I waited 30 minutes, my friend in the line for size 42 waited 40 minutes).

FYI, if you're trying to get into Notre Dame Cathedral tomorrow (Monday), a few new time slots just opened a few minutes ago (this is a screenshot from the website, not the app): resa.notredamedeparis.fr/fr/reservati...

#IceSkating at the #GrandPalaisdesGlaces at night, with DJ, flashy lights, and huge crowds. Even with tickets, you'll spend most of the night in lines (getting in, getting skates, returning skates). Zero holiday decor. In the day you see the atrium better, but there's no music. #Paris #Christmas

If you're visiting the Tuileries Christmas Market, note that the metro station Tuileries closes weekends from 4-11pm because of the massive crowds (the stations tunnels are too narrow). Use metro Concorde, Pyramides, or Palais Royal instead. #Paris #marchedenoel #christmasmarket #tuileries

❄️ Glacière metro station is being turned into a ski station today through Friday, from noon-6pm! ⛷️

On the program: ski simulator, photocall in a cable car, and other surprises, all part of the RATP's numerous Christmas events on its metro and RER network. ☃️

Notre Dame Cathedral is even better than I'd hoped, the colors in the chapels are stunning! 😍

Only critique is the ugly new flooring (only in some sections, so you can see the difference).

Will go back to see the stained glass on a sunny day. ☀️
