Once in 1998, I learned HTML from a book using MS Notepad to code and built a website of several pages while staying awake for 24 hours straight and playing a VHS copy of MST3K: The Movie (ft. This Island Earth) on repeat. I've also watched it many, many other times besides.

Metroid Prime 4 so far seems like it's going to be another realistic, down-to-earth game that's completely off-the-wall and swarming with magic robots.

JRPG stories always go like this, since the beginning: the evil Dragon Lord threatens the world and almost seems to win until a corageous and fundamentally good hero(es) save the day with the power of love and/or friendship.
It's a lesson to always remember.

I just bought a bunch of schlock for real cheap from Barnes & Noble 'cause honestly that's the most entertaining kind of movie.

Best Buy is killin' it with pre-orders. Dragon Quest I & II is the second consecutive game, maybe third overall, that's been delivered to me prior to the actual release date.

Every year since its release, come October I get a yen to play through Metroid Dread. It's become easily my second favorite entry after Super Metroid. I still don't know by heart where everything is and which way to go sometimes 😅 so it hasn't gotten old yet. True 10/10 game for me (Super is 11/10).

I don't appreciate how targeted ads figured out something I bought with cash while in a different state, and neither have I spoken about it for a phone to hear me, but that it's trying to sell me the same thing again. Is the point just to be unsettling? Who pays for these ads?

I just got Halley's Comet by Taito, 1986 from Arcade Archives. It's a fun little shooter from the midway point between fixed-screen and vertically-scrolling. I enjoy trying these games which may not be Xevious-level influential but have their own ideas and twists.
