Yes i totally agree and for me the looming dread and sense of disappointment that a driver might be out of the running early really takes away a lot of enjoyment.

I think i figured out why this is the case. They are all people who love Football so the 'finals' thing seems great to them. I personally have no interest at all in Football and as such the whole concept seems stupid. Trying to "footballise" motorsports is daft and unnecessary.

It's my main series and I'm really disappointed with the new system. It's simply not required. The only thing they need to change is the amount of races because right now it's not enough.

You should certainly try it because at the very least you should be able to do without it.
