The most important lesson about libertarianism is that nobody's really "libertarian".

The entire movement started off purely based on neo-confederate ideals trying to keep schools segregated.

The mythology of "libertarians" being "economically conservative but socially liberal" was a fabrication.

And that title did a much better job of expressing the real argument being made - to roll back women's rights and get them out of the workforce entirely.

For some reason the profiles flagged as "trustworthy" all look like:

If a writer can't flag that kind of technology as "Bog-standard racism hiding behind a fig leaf of technology" (AKA - "garbage in, garbage out personified") they shouldn't be writing articles on technology at all.

Maybe we need a wider conversation about how things like coffee and donuts, normally synonymous with "cheap" and given away free to the homeless at soup kitchens during the depression, have become symbols of "extravagant, unaffordable luxury" thanks to skyrocketing prices.
