Yay! Glad I found you here as I migrate away from the other place. I’m a sexual assault advocate in Texas. I advocate for people as they navigate through the reporting process, having a forensic exam, and search for healing services after. This is my mini circus:

The hospital used to be the safest place for a girl/woman who has just been assaulted. Now they’ll be targets for assault and trafficking more than ever since their abuser knows they’ll report even less than before.

I got this sticker when I did clerical volunteer work for NARAL in 2001. While the fight to keep #abortion legal has been an ongoing fight, looking back I now realize we took this entitlement for granted. I will never do that again.
