Shout out to the two late-teen girls who, on two separate days last week, complimented me on two different casual outfits. This 58-year old appreciated it so much! I’m thrilled young women are lifting other women up - including ones who aren’t their contemporaries. I need to do this more.

I broke my social media ‘diet’ to keep up on what’s going on in LA with the fires. Then Zuck publicly went full red pill & MAGA so while I’m still not posting, I am going back and forth between Threads and Bluesky to make sure I’m following everyone I love from over there. Wish me luck.

I just learned, and still haven’t really processed, that the song “Holiday Road” from National Lampoon’s Vacation was Lindsay Buckingham-NOT Kenny Loggins as I had assumed for 41 years. I feel like I’ve slipped through a crack in the universe into an alternate reality; which would explain a lot.

I’m still on my social media hiatus, but poked my head in to follow some folks back. Anyway, I’ll be back later on but I think I’ll be on SM a lot less in the coming months. ❤️
