Five years ago, my newest @engrstudies.bsky.social paper was chapter 2 of my #Anthropology dissertation.

I am trying to keep the space alive for the intersection of disciplinary knowlege X a topic that lots of interdisciplinary and #STS scholars have already 👣 traveled through.
Several archival papers have been printed and annotated, sitting atop a desk. A green folder is visible with a label saying "ethics code trajectory study."

My mother, Gillian Mallory Bruce (1954-2010): Valued education, was very ambitious for me 😭

Today marks 5 years since we arrived in #Germany! 🇩🇪

Yesterday I submitted my first-ever #research proposal to Horizon Europe, and today I have registered for the B1 language test in October. Now, off to the public library to check on my interlibrary loan. Tomorrow is definitely a spa day 🏊‍♀️🧖‍♀️

Finally finished this book I bought for December's vacation. Was reading for some leisure-time ♀️self-care conciousness-raising💪, and also because I seem to be getting more involved in writing and speaking about liberalism recently.

The newly-created class Social Studies of Energy existed twice at Technical University of Munich, once in the “Industries & Innovation” module and once in the “NatureCultures & Sustainability” module.

Finished A1.1, shifting to A1.2 🎓🔥 Added free apps today, towards my goal of excellent German language competence before the fall! 💪🏻🌍🇪🇺 As a teenager I was so good at languages. Channeling my inner child right now to be OK with my incompetence & enjoy the journey.

The world feels impossibly dark lately. I am crying for the earth, which will fall victim to human laziness and stupidity. 😭
