Fair.
But you'd be surprised at how linear some YuGiOh decks are. One of the better decks in the game is a bunch of Succubi ladies in a Trap-Heavy deck. Only 1-2 card combos. But also tournament viable and easy to understand.
YuGiOh only has "long text" in the sense there aren't many keywords.
