the role card will be handed out at the beginning of the game. the bottom left corner of the card explains the role's abilities and objective. in addition, you can choose to vote anyone other than yourself. you cannot change your option after confirming.

the main UI has 3 buttons: opening the chat box, checking your role card, and opening the player list. only one of them can be used at a time. in addition, the theme of your UI will change depending on your role.

the ui doesnt look pretty, yes, but in the video i also showcase some cool things you can do with UI classes in roblox to reduce the amount of work you need to do in programming.

in other words... i spent a week or two making my own chat system. the text filter doesnt work here but im sure it'll filter properly on release. other than that, im glad i have finished the basics of the chat!

i wanted to make my own chat UI, so at first i read the documentations for TextChatService. i then realized how unfit that system was for my game because i need to block messages sent by villagers at night and ghosts for everybody.

the houses are meant to represent huts to give that "primitive" feelings, and cone trees are just an aesthetic i acquired from previous games ive worked on, but thank you for the feedback!
