I am just the worst in keeping this posting schedule... Wow!

So, since I'd already gotten a tattoo for our first born (Sivi), it was only natural to get a similar one on my left arm for our younger daughter, Ninni.

This was taken just before Christmas 2024.

I am consisent in my inconsistency it seems...

So how did I end up with a tiny set of waves on my chest? By surprise, that's how :) This was from the wife as a surprise birthday present a few years ago that I didn't know anything about prior to arriving at the tattoo artist's place

On to the next one! This one is dedicated to our first born, Sivi and the things she was into and inspired. At the time she was a bit over 4 years old so was a big sister already at the time too (that'll play a part, you'll see 😉)

This was in the planning a good year with Sivi before I got it done.

Holy heck, so I kinda nearly forgot to complete the series! 🙈

So this one was taken kind of on a whim... Wife worked at the time (still does) with health care and is not able to wear her rings so she took a tattoo as a symbol for when she does not wear her rings.

One thing leads to...

Then it is time for the tattoo that I usually have to explain most often and most :D If the previous tattoo was inspired by the band Muse, this is by Queens of the Stone Age.

It is the title of one of their songs that I doodled at work back in 2011.

Here's the second tattoo I got, back in 2010 and the picture is from right after when it was taken.

The quote is from the lyrics to Knights of Cydonia by MUSE, my then (and perhaps still) favorite band.

This was at a time when I still needed a reminder to learn to let go and move on.

Didn't see too much of the Quadrantids (only 4-5) but got a good look at the moon, Venus and Saturn.

Then a warm sauna and some frolicking in the snow (+95C to -15C) to close the day off.

This is where it all started at around 2010 or something? I was at an all time low with depression and all and a then-friend kinda proverbially slapped me and jokingly said I should tattoo a smiley on me as a reminder to smile and of my humour.

Weekend morning watching kids' cartoons and lubing switches, because why not.

Here's the little Junimo of mine, wife has her own (green). Stardew Valley has become our go-to game with the wife when the kids are falling asleep and we need to relax before bed.

So yesterday worth a whisky as vacation somehow just sank in. Girls were gettin gbetter from the cold they had, wife too! Went to see a Christmas theater with the whole family and all liked it. Oh and the footy went well over in London.

But today migrane has been the price to pay for yesterday :(
