I started with the Lee/Claremont 91 series so she was always mine too. One of my favourite issues is Uncanny 297 (I think), the epilogue to X-Cutioner’s Song, which was also my first big crossover

It’s been exhausting trying to speak out on so many things going on in the world recently, especially when the government is doing its utmost to gaslight us, when verbal dissent is met with condemnation, and direct action and support of it met with terrorist charges.

I was raised in activism, at CND stalls, and protest marches, by an incredible woman who wasn’t afraid to get involved and speak up, and I wanted a copy of this picture to remind me of that.

They still haven't adjusted that issue number... Should be #140.5
