I was freaking FLOORED when I saw it. They managed to pull of an intimidating spectacle for the last fight!

DID YOU SEE HERMES’S TURTLE UNDER HIS HAND THOUGH
Adding to this that EM3 in Hades 1 is so easy because it’s very cheesable with the Athena boon for Dash, specially once you have the multiple dashes and even more so with the Hermes boon for bonus dashes!

Maybe the cheese builds are just stronger in 2. I definitely felt that my build in 2 had more synergy across gods than in 1.
Still, fantastic games. Lots to unlock left and fun runs to do. (Also restarted fresh on 1).

In Hades 1 it took me 2-3 attempts to beat EM3 and like 10 attempts for EM4 (not including failures before the last boss).
In Hades 2, both Unrivaled 3s and both Unrivaled 4s went down on the first attempt.

the fact that on his (unknown to him) last day he asked me to bring one of my cats outside to see if his pit bull would chase it like a squirrel and try to attack. He also scolded me for not hitting my cats when they “misbehave” (IE behave like cats when uncomfortable/scared)
