After a year pause and code revisions, I updated the data for my app to find economic articles with data. It now contains information for >11000 articles with reproduction packages from economic journals. The automatic Stata reproductions will be revised next...

Hi Khoa, I have run a replication study for your great post and think you swapped by accident the two labels in your Figure 1 (see arxiv.org/abs/2411.14763)

Often regression results only show coefficients and standard errors. But choosing the right degrees of freedoms seems super important for robust inference. Some numbers are in my new large-scale meta study: arxiv.org/pdf/2411.14763 So perhaps it is time for the AER to show stars again? Or CI?

Insgesamt (da sind dann wohl Redispatchkosten drin) scheint es laut der Frontierstudie für die Industrie deutschlandweit bei einer Gebotszonentrennung etwas teurer zu werden. Man kann natürlich immer über die Annahmen diskutieren, aber zumindest gibt es in der Studie keine großen Effizienzgewinne.

Gemäß der Studie scheint eine Trennung aber die Großhandelspreise auch nicht wirklich merklich abzusenken, obwohl flexible Nachfrage, regional modelliert zu sein scheint. Mögliche Preiserhöhungen wegen mehr Marktmacht sind vermutlich nicht modelliert (meist wird ja perfekter Wettbewerb angenommen).
