I think you are missing my point. I was underlining how some people have started using the # as a sort of plea for Bürgertum instead as a # to discuss working conditions.
Btw I don't know who that "we" in your skeet means.

The post I've quoted referred to the desire of a Grundeinkommen for academics based on the one for artists in Ireland.

But maybe it's because I am seeing myself as a worker who loves what he does and I do not have Bürgerliche aspirations to become what I criticize.

I know we invested time and energy in our training. We are often great at what we do. I am.
But academia is a job.
Amazing queer research was done outside of academia. I quote it in all my publications.

Also how would that work? Who would be the geniuses receiving money as Grundeinkommen? We would end up with the same circus as Drittmittelanträge but KSK style with similar discriminations in the selection.

The system is rotten and needs to change. The working conditions of the Mittelbau are pushing us in precarity and mental and economic distress. Changing the system will not work for everyone though. It is in the end, a job. I don't think that the collectivity should get us all a job.

I fear that we slowly reach a point here where the narrative is that we are "geniuses" that need to receive money from the state to think and change the world. That sounds like Silicon Valley entitlement to me.
I teach, I research and I write because I like my job. That's why I want to keep one.

Academia is A JOB (art can also be one of course don't just intentionally miss my point).
We should continue fighting for a departmental system with real job opportunities away from the German feudal Lehrstuhl system.
No to the individualization of solutions and yes for better work conditions.

Here my problem is that we are comparing apples with oranges
Artists are also often in asymmetric power relations that tie them to patronage by the state or to the generosity of rich patrons. I want them to get money so they can concentrate on their art instead of having to sell it.

Btw I agree with lots of what @smittermeier.bsky.social said lately. Fighting against precarious working conditions is important. There's many ways to do this. #diversityoftactics Staying in said situation because we are conditioned to feed on the make-believes of a broken academic system is another

Ah und one more thing:
