Bonus update! Choropleths are still visually distorted and overrepresent land, so we can instead use points that are sized by population. I added an example at the end to show one way to do this with {sf}'s magical st_centroid() #rstats www.andrewheiss.com/blog/2025/02...

Homepage up and running with #Node v22 and #GatsbyJS v5 (migrated from v2 yikes!). The groundwork is now done and so I can update sebastian.proost.science soon 👍

An 1440p ultrawide + a macropad to switch between virtual desktops has been a major productivity booster for my workflow! It is redonkulous this isn't far more common :-D
