Last week, the Santa Ana River Symposium took place at ESRI in Redlands, CA. Mariana, a graduate student in my lab, gave an excellent presentation on our research into the Santa Ana sucker mitochondrial genome. She did an outstanding job!

Unfortunately, I will not be at SICB this year. However, I have colleagues presenting work, which I have contributed to the projects, and an REU student presenting our Stichaeid (prickleback fish) gut microbiome work this past summer at FHL. #SICB2025
