Isn't this about well regulated militia? I.e. today, the NRA controlling all gun owners? To keep your state free from threats to the constitution. There is the military which by definition is armed. And the armed civilians. Both appear to have the right to kill anyone who is endangering the c10n

Right, big miss. In Germany of the 1930s the oath was to the person of the Führer by his name. Also, the title Führer was not attached to a governmental role. Officially he was Reichskanzler I think.
