@yahoofinance.com While observing TSLA stock using finance.yahoo.com/quote/TSLA/?... I noticed something weird. Tesla dropped to $354.xx, then the drop simply disappeared. It didn't bounce down and up. The drop simply vanished. It happened at least 7 times in a matter of minutes. Is it a glitch?

Any idea why they didn't launch today? Yesterday when I checked the weather forecast, they predicted very low(<8m/s) winds and it really turned out to be way, way less windy than yesterday.
Anyway, tomorrow even less wind is expected:

Ich denke es ist sinnlos die Diskussion hier mit ihm fortzusetzen.

Und was will die Horde von öligen Pinschern und Nasskämmern bitteschön damit?!
Nachher sind sie doch eh wieder....

Infinite money glitch for Elonimir Muskovich:
-pump up TSLA stock by making big vaporware promises(as you do):
-wait a bit
-buy all the Turbo-Put-Options on TSLA you can afford
-show people that your heart goes out to them multiple times using that one gesture
-repeat

But BAAINBw's decision may not have a lot to do with the engines themselves. Perhaps it's about production rate and availability. Obviously two companies can produce faster than one.
It has been reported Rolls-Royce Power Systems has denied MTU the option to hire more workers...

A Liebherr V12 would probably fit inside the new hull just as fine as a MTU 873 or a 883.
On the other hand Liebherr engines might offer some minor advantages which haven't been considered.
After all MTU seem to not have developed much in terms of tank engines since 1989.

(...or some other, big compromises have to be made)
And even if the engine compartement was a lot bigger than the rest of the hull. KMW's "Doppelwiegendesign"(double trunnion design) would make it possible to depress the main gun while facing rearwards nonetheless.

Ok, but what about height?
MTU's 883 engine block measures just 742mm in height.
With an appropriate cooling solution and some other optimizations one should be able to get rid of the so-called "NATO-hump" and allow the tank to depress its main gun while facing rearwards.

It suggests that the hull could be shortened by more than a meter, power increased by 150hp and consumption reduced by 15%. Well why do the Leo 2s still use the old 873 then? The MTU 883 has been internationally available since 1989.

As you probably already knew BAAINBw has tasked KNDS Deutschland to develope an alternative power pack for the Leopard 2AX / 3 study.
And KNDS Deutschland are rumored to favor Liebherr as the engine supplier for this endeavor, which has prompted some strong criticism.

However this is NOT correct.
As you can see MTU Friedrichshafen won the tender for the engine and crankshafts.
Liebherr may only supply the engine for the ALTERNATIVE power pack in case KNDS wants them to.
The word "alternative" refers to the new MTU engine for the new Leo 2, not older ones.
