I feel the article doesn't make enough of the tension here with these graphs. The demographic groups aren't 1:1 comparisons, but the Greens being the most popular party for 18 to 29 year olds indicates that the young are still very much in favour of welfare, it's just a hard-edged minority emerging.

There are few more regional railcards to be fair, but vanishingly few, and they mostly seem aimed at rural tourist areas. Anything for getting between major cities outside the south east region (say, Manchester to Birmingham) is non-existent.

I know by the standards of these things, 9 months is very quick, but fuck me that felt like forever (especially the month and change between diagnosis and getting prescribed)
