I used to work for the FL Dept of Corrections at Martin CI and Broward CI. I know what rules were over 15 years ago for sending items to the facilities.
Not sure of current rules or rules for the detention center, but it would tell detainees that they aren't invisible.

#3 I'm imagining flooding the immigrants detention camps with Sacred Texts including Bibles in English and Spanish.
I contacted FL State Rep Dr. Eskamani and her office did get back to me but didn't currently have information in my area of questions and concerns. I also tried the Miami Herald.
