There once was a bench made of teak,
Whose sheen had grown dingy and bleak;
With a soft soapy rub,
(Quite a thorough scrub),
Now it’s blush-worthy, smooth, and—so chic.

I decided to try and quantify one way our business is able to help the environment in terms of reducing KgCO2, deforestation and reduce the opportunity for violent conflict.

Back in the 90's 5 Point, on Cedar was my home after work. Tilikum Place Printers (Where I worked) was right next door.

Decent burgers, but amazingly free-flowing pitchers of beer could be found there.
Ah, #memories. One of favorite dives when I lived in #Seattle.

We allowed a felon to be elected.

Americans let this happen. Apathetic, lazy folks did this and realizing the error we've done shit to fix it.

Should Ukraine, Gaza and older allies suffer as a result of our apathy?

Automation of processes through integration, robotics, and AI remove that in many many many industries.

Utter Chaos and what has changed Vance's mind as he was anti Ukraine last year?
JD Vance issued a stark warning to Russia, threatening the potential deployment of U.S. troops to Ukraine — a move that directly undercut Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who was forced into an embarrassing reversal of his earlier remarks.
VP Slaps Down Hegseth by Threatening Putin With U.S. Troops
U.S. splits are showing over how to end the war in Ukraine as nuclear fears skyrocket after Chernobyl power plant is hit overnight.

Danielle Sassoon makes an argument for integrity - for herself and the Federal Justice system. It also shows that Trump is an ass-clown who has perpetrated a circus of bullshit onto the United States.

Danielle isn't in support and neither am I.

She gets hero status in my view.

You can almost hear projects vaporizing.

I'm betting, a 2.5K/sqft home in the PNW ends up costing at least another $30K in wood/drywall, and the trades will be squeezed to accommodate margin gobbled up by 'innovation' + marketing costs, as GCs try to hoover up any projects they can grab...
CoreLogic: "Tariffs could push home construction costs up by 4% – 6% over the next 12 months...Already, the average cost of new construction in the U.S. is $422,000. Adding in potential material cost increases from the tariffs would add between $17,000 and $22,000 to that price tag."

A 'chilling' effect on builders, trades, and craftspeople. 40% overall tariff? Home prices will rise.

GCs get ready to watch some larger projects vaporize. Labor takes the hit by late spring.

Innovate your practices and boycott the companies supporting Trump.
