We are a nonprofit pet resource and adoption center that has been saving and serving pets in need in the Pacific Northwest for more than 125 years. linktr.ee/SeattleHumane
Don't forget to hit us up at our booth at PAX West where we'll have lots of cool limited-edition merch, a kitten cuddle booth, friendship bracelets and more surprises! If you're game, we'll be a PAX all four days (Aug. 29-Sept. 1).

Adopting from Seattle Humane is as easy as 1-2-3! Let's hear it for the 123 pets that went home last week!! We've got plenty more fur babies looking for families during Clear the Shelters, but we know we can count on our Rescue Squad to open their homes and hearts to those who need them most.

Pound for pound, we’ve got some of the cutest and cuddliest critters around weighing in for this year’s Clear the Shelters! We’re running an adoption special all month long where the fee for dogs 50+ pounds is just $1 per pound and $1 per pound for cats 1+ years old.

You hear about Pluto? He's still not adopted - that's messed up! But so is Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Mercury and Saturn. What on Earth is going on? Make Seattle Humane part of your orbit and get these planetary puppies one giant step home!

We need to talk about Babble, Chitchat, Yap and Whisper. Seriously, how cute are these kittens? Give them some love and let us know what the name of their album cover should be!

With all due respect to the fine folks in Seattle, it's actually a Hot Cat Summer! They made up 107 of our 148 adoptions last week and, yes, that is a lot of kitties!! But 41 dogs ain't too shabby either. We got lots more shelter pets still looking for their families, so the cuteness continues!

Pickles and Pepper are wondering if Bluesky likes puppies! They're also wondering where their new families are. Pick a Pickles or Pepper at Seattle Humane!

Ares doesn't always eat freeze-dried strawberries, but when he does, he prefers to do it in a loving home. Of course, he will still do it here at Seattle Humane because, duh, strawberries! Leave some time in your summer plans to Netflix and Chinchilla!!

Puppy and kitten adoptions really heat up during the summer, but please don't forget about the amazing senior pets looking for homes. They are often calmer, come with more training under their collars and have well-established manners and personalities!

Lisbon is one of the last of our chi mix pups to find a home since landing in the Pacific Northwest over the weekend. What? Is this not doing anything for you?

Upset you can't just buy public lands yet? Why not adopt a cute kitten named after one of our wonderful state and national parks? Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon and Valley of Fire are waiting for you here at Seattle Humane!

Dean can't believe Lorelai would rather hang out with Rory! Show some puppy love for this brooding heartthrob, would ya? He has to wait until Tuesday for you to come adopt him!

If they are in a dangerous spot like, say, a construction site, then you'll definitely want to move them somewhere close but out of harm's way. Baby Fishtopher is in good hands and in a few weeks he'll be ready to find his new family!

If you see a kitten or kittens that look to be in rough shape like these ones, it's very likely mom is out of the picture. If they look clean and healthy, don't go scooping them up just yet as mom may just be running an errand.

Fishtopher came to us after he was found at a construction site all the way in Burlington! This gray potato spent two weeks with his finder getting bottle fed, so he's looking pretty good. This is a great reminder that Kitten Season is here and to be on the lookout.

This entire litter of puppies will go out to foster today for some extra TLC. Dogs are great at adapting, and being deaf, blind or both doesn't mean they can't live fairly normal lives with loving families, and we can't wait to see them thriving in their happy home soon!

Piglet and her littermates just arrived at Seattle Humane through our friends at Kitsap Humane. Several of these adorable pups have genetic abnormalities common in double merle dogs, including sight and hearing impairment. This sweet baby is deaf and blind.

Osiris is ready for you to start worshipping her, but she'd prefer her shrine be situated in a more prestigious location - how about your home? This gorgeous girl had a severe inner ear infection and, as a result, has a head tilt that may correct itself over time. She's probably not judging you!

Seattle Humane is joining the paw-ty during the first Spring Fling Block Party in White Center! Join us and many other vendors for a day of fun, games, local music, SH swag and more with Rat City Events! We'll be raising the woof from 12-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.

A bunch of cuteness just landed in the Puppy Express, and now these little loves are ready to cuddle up to their new families! Taffy, Tessa, Trudy and Truffles all came to Seattle Humane from Yakima Valley Pet Rescue earlier today with their brothers, Trident and Timber. Isn't that T-riffic?

Some folks carry their heart on their sleeve - Oli carries his on his nose! This big lug is very loving and still very playful at 7 years young. The other way to his heart is through his stomach, but just with food. If he shows you his belly, that's a trap!

Lavender and Rose take breakfast very seriously! They hopped over to Seattle Humane from their foster home looking to get adopted over the weekend but with no luck. These bonded buns are so much fun! They've been with us since January. Honestly, it's enough to make someone flip their bowl!
