I do not want followers, I just want to enjoy Bluesky and likeminded individuals who believe in democracy and the Constitution.

Being anti-vax because you believe propaganda over science and studies that have existed for a very long time is DUMB. People loved to an average age of 37 in 1900. Average age now is 73. Why? Because of medicine and vaccines! But listening to Fox News can certainly shorten your life span!

Vaccine studies on efficacy and safety have existed for decades. It’s been proven time and time again. Can there be potential serious side effects? Of course there can, and that information is provided or easily accessible to everyone. It’s also very rare to suffer complications.

You clearly missed the entire point. Being anti-vax is completely different from having a contraindication to a vaccine. But nice try!

Love this!

I don’t believe any of this because rumors have been going around a long time while our nation crumbles under this regime. When the day actually arrives, I want to see proof. Until then I see these posts as a waste of time and energy. The good die young, so this bastard will live a long time. 🤬

It’s basic things- rest, hydrate, sleep, Tylenol as needed. They even provide info in case you have an allergic reaction and what to do. I’ve been a nurse 20+ years, so I’m sorry, but I don’t believe you. I’ve never seen anyone that’s outpatient not receive this info.

I don’t know where you live, but I will not believe for a second you weren’t told how to manage side effects. They give you a handout every time related to s/e’s and how to manage them. If you get it at MD office and they don’t tell you, you’ve got a negligent doctor. I call bs too!

Absolutely. And you can no longer trust the CDC to give proper guidance. But there are reputable sources to obtain vaccine guidance including CHOP, John Hopkins, CIDRAP, etc.
Until the administration loses power, it will get worse. We already see the effects.

Exactly. Patients who don’t take responsibility for their own health are very naive. I’ve taught many patients for 20+ years about the importance of being their own advocate. It’s astounding how many people do not understand the importance of this.

When I had to get my shingles vaccine both my doctor and the pharmacist recommended I get it when I would have a couple of days off.

I’ve been a critical care nurse for 20+ years. I’ve also been a patient. I’ve never received a vaccine without the doctor telling me the risks and potential side effects. When I received them at a pharmacy, they always provided i
printout r/t side effects and mgmt of side effects.

Some people cannot receive live vaccines. You need to talk to your doctor if you have questions or concerns. I cannot get live vaccines due to a certain infusion I receive. They gave me the live vaccines prior to starting this Rx. Again always talk to your doctor when in doubt.

And because it now recognizes the invader, it fights even harder against it. Also, you still may get shingles (low chance), but the duration and severity will be much less. Source: critical care nurse and have had shingles twice prior to vaccination.

Hydrate, sleep, eat well, plan to have 1-2 days for recovery. If you feel miserable it’s actually a good sign. Your body is fighting the invader, and creating a memory so it can fight it in the future. The second shingles vaccine is typically harder because the body now recognizes the invader.

Most people who are anti-vax are dumb! End of story. Ofc some are excluded from recommendations, but they are the outliers. You’re using a strawman fallacy and have dissuaded no one with your comment.

And I very much support MSNBC, but was my far one of the dumbest questions anyone has ever asked on this network.

So much “winning”. Millions going hungry, while the oligarchs feast like the pigs they are.

I think there’s some that run as democrats but are definitely wolves in sheep’s clothing. We’ve seen too many examples of that. We really need to seriously vet anyone before we vote for them. Even then they could fool us, but we must do our due diligence to stop as many as they fake D’s as we can.

That’s a parody BSKY account you shared, but I agree with your sentiment.
