Taryn knew at 4 years old after watching film footage of Captain Paul Watson & Brigitte Bardot protecting fur seals (instead of the cartoons she was supposed to be watching) that she wanted to spend her life helping the ocean and its inhabitants.

Naveen's journey is profoundly shaped by his early years growing up in Kottivakkam, a small fishing hamlet in Chennai, India. Surrounded by the beauty and power of the ocean, he developed a deep appreciation for marine ecosystems and an unyielding commitment to their preservation.

While we naturally think of the coast as a vulnerable source for ocean plastics, a majority of plastics actually make their way into our oceans from rivers around the world.
