After all the very foundation of science wasn't entirely based on citations or publications, but just the curiosity about the natural world .yes it's important to keep up with the modern times, but remember you are worthy, human and very much alive on this planet, figuring it out.

While yes each time you struggle, it's a lesson on how you can improvise and change habits to become better. Remember, your worth and intellectual contribution to science can also be defined by other parameters such as humanity, curiosity, wonder, fascination, passion, etc.

It's basically replacing you. Use of ai for writing, creation of literature and art, it's bleak. Research papers, dissertations they lack that natural human excitement and touch.
