Yesterday may have been my best ski day of the year. I visited Snowriver Mountain Resort in the UP (Michigan.) fabulous snow, meticulous grooming, and no crowds. There are 2 mountains connected via shuttle. Here is a brief tour of the Black River Basin side:

Booked a portion of what may be my last ski trip of the season. Driving to the UP.
The realities:
🔴Temps went up way too fast, way too early in the Midwest.
🔴I, like many others, am not keen on flying anywhere right now.
🔴I'm trying to save more money for our collective uncertain future.

Posted a little different video yesterday. I struggled in ungroomed chopped-up snow on a hill, but managed to complete it within my comfort level.

I'm skiing in Beaver Creek, Co. There was a skier wearing an Eagles jersey. Literally tons of people were screaming "Go Birds!" from the lifts, and she and her friends would yell, "Go birds!" back. Even a liftie yelled it out! It was awesome! #GoBirds #FlyEaglesFly 🦅⛷️

Super crazy change of plans this weekend has me skiing Beaver Creek. Staying slopeside. I don't think any of my clothes are nice enough for the location, but oh, well.😎😄

3 wks ago, I was skiing with ladies I met online. Normally on a wide-open, long run like this, I'd go full throttle but a sr lady in the group was slower so I followed behind her w wide turns. . I'm back at Northstar in March, hopefully can do a speedier cruise on Drifter.
