Started Voyager this week!
I got into Star Trek in 2020 with Deep Space Nine and followed up with Next Gen.
By the time I made it to Voyager I burned out on Trek. Really excited to give it a try with a fresh eyes!
I’ve heard people say it’s got warm found family vibes and I need that energy 😅

Started Voyager this week!

I think out of all the books I bought in the Naratess indie sale these have my favorite covers. They are so pretty and remind me of medieval drawings.
I just really like covers I know are probably not AI. Especially since many book covers are a bit samey these days.

It brought back a basic version of the genetics and breeding from the On and Mix versions.
It’s kind of a chunk so I’ll have to go today and get a new carrying case since it’s so much bigger than my other tamas!

Wanted to pick up some romance as I don’t have a lot of physical ones. I also haven’t read much of Nora so I decided to fix that.
I was shocked to find a complete trilogy in good condition :)

Look I’m actually reading a book I downloaded (instead of hoarding them in my TBR forever)!
1910 was an interesting time to be sure! I always thought meat in aspic was a 1950s thing.
The book also contains *a lot * of slang from the era so Google has been my friend recently.

So I’m alive! Mental health is improving.
I read this book today, A Polar Expedition by Kass O’Shire. 3.5/5 pretty good, bit of room for improvement. Loving the world she’s created!
Also had chicken pot pie today, so doing excellent so far.
