I lived in New Orleans for a long time and marveled how we could have such a rich insane holiday when everywhere else it was just Tues. Now I live everywhere else and I’m still amazed. Anyhow, here’s some King Cake ice cream and happy Mardi Gras everyone!

In an episode of real talk last season was super hard. We had a v hard time hiring help, & at the end of the season I was laid low
with illness. So it is only now that I see how successful it actually was. All I cld see at the time was all the balls I’d dropped. #bloomscroll #flowerfarm #gardening

This was one of my seedling dahlia patches last year, with the sweet pea cattle panels behind. Sweet peas had ended by this photo but I did get some cup and saucer vine growing there after for the hummingbirds. There was a cpl that nested in there! They were so fun to hang out with in the garden 💕
