Vox takes consent seriously. And thats soemthing Searia enforces right away. She doesnt want another man to hurt her and make her feel as shitty as her ex did.

For me, despite Vox being and evil asshole ( and trust me. Searia isnt a saint herself, she is equally as fucked up)

I feel like he deeply cares for a partner even when he is being a sparky asshole on the outside.

I think the great thing about ocx canon is that you can explore and try to tell stories to futher develop canon characters.
