Agreed - its definitely tough to find appliances that really last. We did a full kitchen remodel 17 years ago - and I have already replaced the refrigerator, stove and microwave, and I'm on my 3rd dishwasher. And this all happened while following the suggested annual maintenance guidelines.

I had a stainless steel french door Kenmore fail in 2019, after only 12 years. The refrigerator before that - which was an old green Kenmore - lasted over 35 years. And to think I only replaced the green one for style reasons, it was still working.
