Very happy that Ukraine got the money to continue. Can the bulk of the assets be moved from Belgium to the E3? They should to be protected from the US trying to get their grubby hands on the funds.

Hardly. Ukraine got its funding! That is in spite of the Putin lapdogs in Hungary and Slovakia. It is a good result. But the Russian assets must remain out of reach of Trump, who would like to grab half.

As has been shown by studies, shipping LNG around the globe on ships is even more environmentally damaging than burning coal. Buying more gas produced with extremely poor environmental standards in the US is a very big mistake. We in the EU should not be subsidizing bad US environmental standards

Trump was always going to sell out both Ukraine and Europe. By creating a surrender plan for Ukraine privately with Russia, and zero input from either Ukraine or EU or NATO, is arrogant and sickening. Trump didn’t even have the guts to show up at the G20.

If he was going to let them be released, he could do it right now. No congressional vote needed. He has agreed with DOJ that because of the investigation he ordered, they can’t be released. At least not the ones that are relevant. He is again playing the media and Americans for fools.
