I don't think that would happen sadly. Often times the parasocial ones are the same who make sure to be there for every fandom event. They need to be in control of their favourite whatever and have some say over others. They need it as their lifeline and won't let go willingly :(

There will be some push against it, obviously can't do all that much against a huge crowd. But if something drastically changes people create something new to feel connected. Can imagine that there might be more fanmeetings (fan meet fan) or listening parties happening in the future

Yeah, I also saw a lot of bad concert experiences too. I can only speak from the outside, the last two artist i saw their concerts performance from online their fans seemed very alive. Then obviously the camera won't film a dead crowd. Do wonder how it will develop over time

Again no real knowledge, but festivals might lose popularity because of that and more, like people not being able to be inconvenienced. Causing festivals in the future to be smaller and many not happening. I can imagine it being another trend too and becoming bigger, more "fake' and expensive

As someone with no festival experience, I only see videos from concerts and they seem to be very alive. I think it has to do with a lot of people only caring about the popularity of the artist and the numbers they get for attenting, plus the fact that there is no real community anymore :/
