I agree immigration is good, illegal entry to the country isn't. Thanks for the polite response though. My hope when joining Bluesky and leaving Twitter was that considered and respectful debate could be achieved. I'm a Centrist, neither left or right, but willing to listen to all points of view.

I agree that a number of strategies are required to provision an overall solution. However I still feel that a deterrent could prove useful. The returns element is, as you are well aware, is easy to say, much harder to achieve.

I'd be interested in you outlining your alternative deterrent strategy.
