My wife and I were lucky in that our parents set both of us up for success.
So many of our friends parents didn't, even going so as to set them back. So we now have a bunch of friends who we has assumed that parent roll to help get them on a good footing, since family has said no.

Draw Steel is a blast. Everything I want from my heroic fantasy RPG. I still haven't wrapped my head completely around the Cosmere RPG just yet. My character is currently costing off being Temu Teft.

The amount of times our troubadour would yell, "oh that also gives me Drama", on other turns was just so fun.

4e was a game ahead of it's time, and there was a bloat of books.
Anytime something is drastically different people react poorly.
It's biggest failing is still having DnD thoughts which the modern games that follow it have shead.
