Went to the same gas station 12 hours apart yesterday, and the price increased by over 30 cents a gallon between the morning and evening. I contacted the gas company for an explanation. Wonder if I'll get a reply.

I am very happy for Paul Skenes that he won the NL Cy Young, & I still think baseball's awards are outdated & dumb. Welcome to my annual rant! Why are there separate awards for each league? There is not an AFC and an NFC MVP in football. Or Eastern and Western conference Vezina winners in the NHL.

Look, I know that it's ridiculous to look at NHL standings in November, but it's amazing that through about 12-13 games for each team, the entire Eastern conference has between 13 and 18 points. Not counting OT losses, every team has a winning record (well except for Boston who is 7-7). #NHL
