I hear what you’re saying, but it *is* different whether you choose to believe so or not. This is akin to a high school jock pointing at someone and yelling “gay!”. You just think it’s ok in this scenario because it’s targeted at folks you hate. I hate them too but it doesn’t make this ok.

My question was rhetorical. I know exactly what it’s getting at- my issue is that the “punchline” is “haha they’re gay”. Which is a really low-brow and cringe joke to make. There are 30,000 other ways to criticize these clowns; homophobia shouldn’t be one of them.

It’s just so crazy because there are like, 30,000 reasons to clown on these guys but some dorks keep going for the low-brow homophobia and body shaming…Whack!

It’s crazy how these typical liberal accounts get all “relax it’s just a joke” as soon as someone mentions that their post is dumb. They’re just like MAGA bros. I was disheartened to have to scroll so far to see someone call out that gay PDAs aren’t “funny” nor should they be the butt of a “joke”
