When my industry is healthy, everyone is working and junior artists can get into a studio with barely a reel. When my industry is a mess, like it currently is, even having a 25+ year long resume doesn't guarantee anything, you basically HAVE to know someone to get a new job. I wish it was different.

Built a cigar box guitar a few weeks ago from a kit. It's great, very fun! But I'm not a cigar smoker, so I made it a cocoa box!

This wind in LA is insane! Never felt the house shake from wind before. Thankfully we are far enough from any fires that we're not worried about flames. Friends evacuated their workplaces early today and are safe. Fire and wind sure is a horrible mix.

My printer is vintage now, I guess. I can't find new ink cartridges, only refurbished, which is fine for black, but the color cartridges are always screwed up. But I just can't bring myself to get a new printer when this one works perfectly fine. (Thankfully my wife has a modern, awesome printer)

Spent the first day of the new year at Knott's Berry Farm. Very fun and chill timeout, and it's always fun seeing the blacksmith and the glass blowers. These Star Wars glasses are pretty great, but also pretty expensive!

Speaking of guitars, I'm pretty sure I own the only Star Wars customized Blackstar Fly 3 that exists. It'd be fun to do this to a full size amp!

Rendering with @blender.org with deadline on OSX. System getting massively filled up to the point of being unusable. Apparently there’s a GPU cache folder that doesn’t get cleared out when rebooting (v3.62 - yeah haven’t updated due to pipeline tools!). Ouch. Anyone know if this has been fixed??
