I’ve used Proton for some time now as well. Between their recent behavior and increasingly frequent outages, I wouldn’t recommend them anymore either.

Ed, this may not even be possible due to the systemic nature of the issue, but does an index / list / resource exist that compiles good alternatives or companies / products that don’t operate or behave in the way you are (rightfully) so critical of?

The broadcast team (mostly Brady) set the tone for a Chiefs-centric narrative as the game went on. The focus was nearly always on the Chiefs / Mahomes. I am not an Eagles fan but it felt extremely uneven to listen to.
