I wonder if she will reflect on the fact that she was a hate figure for centralists and left-wingers for a decade, but only started getting death threats when she turned on Trump/MAGA. Probably needs a level of self-awareness of which she is not capable.

Why do you think farmers should be exempt from a tax the rest of us have to pay? Whose taxes do you think should go up to plug the gap? They still get 10 years to pay any inheritance tax due, which is more than the rest of us do.

And it's "protest against". We're not the 51st state yet.

Their article's byline describes him as a "big-hitter". He was a backbench MP for 5 years and Johnson's PPS for about 6 weeks. Hardly Michael Heseltine, is he?

What? Somebody going into business by buying things up and selling them on at a profit? Shameless behaviour

It should have ended when he mocked that disabled journalist.

Can't be tried in a UK court because the case has to be brought within a year, and it is more than that. So he is going to try to bring the case in Florida. The problem being that the offending programme wasn't aired in the US, so no-one saw it. So how can he claim reputational and financial damage?

Farage has already nailed his flag to the mast. Siding with a hostile foreign leader against an iconic British Institution. How terribly patriotic of him...

Difference being that the Trump administration can make life very difficult for US Media companies, so they usually fold. The BBC, not so much.

Trump is pretty much universally reviled in the UK.

Leaves him to spend more time in the greenhouse with his concrete plants.

Just when I thought I couldn't be shocked by human nature anymore, something like this turns up.

With Thea Ransome played by Benedict Cumberbatch’s mum!

So will the ICE agent now face charges of perjury for blatant lying during his testimony? No, didn't think so.

Part of the problem with the prison service is that, unlike the NHS, roads, state schools, and railways, relatively few members of Joe Public actually come into contact with it.

So it simply isn't a vote-winner because it just isn't on most voters' radar. Hence the neglect.

David Lammy forgot his at PMQs—cue right-wing outrage.

Willuthepeople, though, innit?

You forgot the bit about starting an illegal war based on lies which killed thousands of US soldiers and hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis. Oh, and being an advocate of torture.

War criminal, torturer, murderer.

Lived in Hull in the late 80's and early 90's and the amount of random violence meted out in pubs, taxi queues and on the street by pissed up wankers made the city centre a virtual no-go area on Friday and Saturday nights. Pretty much every one of my friends had a horrible experience at some point.

If they get away with doing it to him, they can do it to anybody. 2/2

I fucking hate SLY and think he should be deported and have his UK citizenship revoked, but this was the right decision. It's obvious the police were on a fishing expedition and had absolutely no justification for arresting him under terrorism legislation. 1/2
