This painting is so damn good!
Two weeks ago it snowed 10 inches here, today it’s balmy and 75 degrees. The delta of south Alabama is a haunting place because of it, fog so dense it’s like a wet wall in the morning. Feels like we’re living in dream scapes, but that’s probably my sleep disorder talking.

Here’s another illustration I did almost a decade ago. All of these are stippled with microns and the large fields are painted with ink. These were a lot of fun, and taught me to enjoy patience. I learned to enjoy the process of creating art, not just the product.

A favorite albums is Nothing in Vain by Most Precious Blood. As I’ve had many people close to me die over the years (parents, friends, loved ones), Thomas Sheehan’s lyrics mean more to me than they ever have. I love when favorite albums grow with your life experience.
