I've delivered plenty of checkmates without putting myself in the hospital, thanks.

I don't see it as Old vs. New Testament at all. I see it as Christians failing to heed the Great Commandment, and abide the Great Commission. How would you call yourself a Christian if the Gospel message isn't a central feature of all your saying and doing? It's like a Hindu preaching hellfire.

If you said this, nobody would bother. We'd moan, grumble over the injustices of the world under our breath, and get back to work. But, now that AI has said it....?

Start prepping, I guess. If your government shuts down, there will be widespread violence and you'll need to survive somehow. It seems ludicrous to allow it to go that far, but I don't know what else to say. It might be the real reason they called all the generals home? Who even knows!

I must admit I didn't know who she was either, but acting like a horny 56-year old stepmother can only help improve her popularity. Good idea! 💡

Republicans control the WH, Senate, and Congress. How are the radical left holding things up?

Yes, you have to perform a sneak checkmate 6 times with the other queens and then slide the last one in for a real checkmate. After that, your opponent must fall to their knees and worship your utter and complete smartness.

Occasionally, it drove women to risk their lives to bear the child privately, then tell everyone they gave it up for adoption after they murdered it or left it in a dumpster. Pregnant women would also risk their well-being by starving or depriving themselves of sleep in order to force miscarriage.

Love this! I also think it's possible to tinker a bit with the order in which ideas are presented to help that flower of creative thought unfurl more beautifully. Could we say that a plot twist is merely the withholding of a critical idea well beyond the norms of discovery?

I think there is an afterlife because with the current state of science, we're still hard-pressed to explain subjective experience. But if your paradise is to punish people, even terrible people, you won't have to worry about getting in. It seems nonbelievers talk about that more than believers.

...or you'll be a mass casualty in a civil uprising, but dead people can at least take comfort in no longer feeling the need to realize anything, so there's that.

At least they're not killing themselves by choosing anger all the time. Yup, they've been dealt a shit hand, but they work to improve, and they have a reason to hope. I choose happiness where I can find it, and I'm not privileged by any means. I hope you will find happiness too.
