A breath of fresh air to have a Governor who understands the need for disruption to change the status quo energy affordability crisis, and the critical role solar has to play in that. @massgovernor.bsky.social is in this with us.

The Trump Administration's continued attack on kitchen table affordability, consumer choice and energy development. This is illegal, but will still have a costly impact on Solar for All.
Breaking News: The Trump administration is preparing to terminate $7 billion in federal grants intended to help low- and moderate-income families install solar panels on their homes, according to people briefed on the matter.
E.P.A. Moves to Cancel $7 Billion in Grants for Solar Energy
If finalized, the move would escalate the Trump administration’s efforts to claw back billions of dollars in climate grants awarded under President Biden.

This bill will raise electric bills and slow energy and broader economic growth, but the one thing it cannot and will not do is stop the clean energy transition. Solar, wind and batteries are the only answer to our growing energy demand, both technically and economically.

The bill the Senate is voting on right now would reduce US power generation through 2035 by 300GW, raise wholesale & retail power prices, increase household energy costs, reduce national GDP, & kill 100s of 1000s of jobs.

I mean, this isn't "public grocery store" bad, but it's pretty bad!

The Senate's "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" will cost America 300GW of new power, $960 billion in GDP, and 770,000 lost jobs.

Grateful for my and my neighbors' rooftop solar as we're steaming through this heat wave. @wbur.org's @miriamwasser.bsky.social highlights the incredible impact these resources are having on our peaking energy demand this week: www.wbur.org/news/2025/06...

At peak hours during this week's heat wave, solar panels on homes, businesses, parking lots and alongside roads are helping relieve stress on the electric grid.
