Never been a fan when the government regulates to take away rights but I believe in this case it will lead to better outcomes for young adults. It will be interesting to see the results in the coming years.

I don't think anyone realistically thought most of the promises would be followed through with. Maybe in Feb though!

I disagree I love fighting for civil rights and standing up for those that need a hand. At the same time I can believe in Austrian economics and believe the best way to build a future for our children is fiscal restraint. But I am happy to hear from others how we can improve on what I think.

But regardless of how much I try to seek middle ground and be understanding, people will be people. Some of us would rather find things that bring us together than divide them.

That's too bad Kristin. I am much more conservative and much less progressive but so far my experience has been more positive here. Actual civil discourse seems to be dead on twitter, it is a shame there are individuals here that want to advocate for that as well on Bluesky.
