Findings also suggest that online exercise platforms like Zwift can lead to identity continuity & gain sequentially rather than as separate pathways. I.e., participating in Zwift can help people continue as an exerciser/cyclist but also add new identities as a “Zwifter” & specific Zwift team member

Well done to @tobyrichstrategy.bsky.social on the publication of his first PhD study. The study explored mid-life adults experiences of social identity processes in an online exercise context (Zwift).
