Studios used to fund movies like this without the expectation it would be a massive hit, they did it because they believed in it. They would have other sure fire movies in the roster to balance out the year. MBAs have ruined our brains.

Power Rangers and the Megazord have dropped in Fortnite, and look what I got to do! My first load screen and the quest art! As a huge Super Sentai fan it was awesome to get to draw these guys! As always great working with @thebillybaumann. Got to check this off my bucket list!

This always feels like a funny take. Maybe it's the beast of IP, but for years we've had sci-fi or fantasy adventure movies with weird characters that no one has heard of. Also GotG isn't that weird, it's a fairly classic story structure. I wouldn't even put GotG in the top 500 weirdest movies.

If you need a good reminder on why we make things and navigating the world we live in... I highly recommended Kurt Vonnegut's A Man Without a Country. Even from way way back in 2005 😂, it's amazing to see how clear Vonnegut could see our current landscape in 2025.
