This story reveals ICE raid strategy. Agents appear claiming to have a warrant for a pedophile, but never show it. OWNER CONSENTS. They ask all Latinx employees for ID and fingerprint them, THEY CONSENTED. 12 were arrested WITHOUT CAUSE. Lesson:
1. DO NOT CONSENT
2. LEAVE
3. STFU
4. CALL A LAWYER

I heard the New Democratic Party Chairman on NPR tonight and it was depressing. The same incompetent messaging. AOC fires me up, this milk toast makes me sad for the future. We can’t do better than this? Is the plan just to hope that Republicans hurt enough people that they lose the next election?

Do not despair at the first waive of Trump’s E.O.s. When Dick the Butcher said “Let’s kill all the lawyers,” it was his recipe for tyranny. If you care about these issues and feel helpless, find a legal advocacy group you like and donate generously. Trump will get his ass handed to him in court.
What did Shakespeare mean when he wrote “let’s kill all the lawyers?”
Hello there. Perhaps you clicked on this link because you have heard people cite Shakespeare on the necessity of killing all the lawyers and wonder if it’s a myth. Or maybe you suspect it&#82…

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.

Let me interrupt your feed with a message of hope. The Supreme Court just ruled that a conviction can be challenged where a prosecutor uses isexism to obtain a conviction—Andrew v. White out of Oklahoma. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24p.... There may be a guardrail after all. Don’t give up.

If you needed proof that “America First” was a racist dog whistle harkening back to the 1930’s American Nazi sympathizers that went by the same name, here it is.
Trump has a new preoccupation: Imperialism
NEW YORK — Donald Trump ran on a return to his "America First" foreign policy platform. The U.S., he said, could no longer afford to be the world's policeman. On

Zimbabwe has joined the growing list of African countries that have stepped out ahead of the United States on human rights. The U.S. uses the death penalty in such a small proportion of cases that it has become a symbolic punishment. We have to ask ourselves, symbolic of what?

Ban private prisons. Rolling back human rights is their business plan, funding politicians who feed their profits is their business plan. Their existence is a threat to your freedom and mine.
